The word “cannabis” is used to refer to marijuana, hashish (hash) and hash oil, all of which come from cannabis sativa, a type of hemp plant. All three contain THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) , a chemical that changes the way you think, feel and act. THC is the main psychoactive component responsible for the “high”.
